Orange Bowl

We watched the Orange bowl with some friends. Anya was dressed as a Yellow Jacket and partied until late into the night.

We played the Wii during halftime. I took down all of my challengers in fencing. You are probably wondering how I won any game that involves the use of a controller. Jury is still out on that one.

Balloons

Anya loves her Aunt Angelina...and she loves balloons. She does not giggle often, but a balloon always seems to do the trick.

Anya has been becoming much more mobile lately. She can sit up alone for a minute (until she reaches for a toy) and now she rolls to get where she wants to go.

Visiting with Grandma Welden is always so much fun! Anya will be bigger than Grandma soon!

Anya is much more entertained by everyday items than actual toys. She was a bit fussy until I dumped a basket full of clean laundry on top of her. Later I emptied the Tupperware cabinet on her behalf. She has never been happier.

Christmas is here...Anya enjoying a Christmas stocking.

The Most Delicious Fruit

I love grapefruit and ate one (sometimes two) daily for a large portion of my pregnancy with Anya. I grabbed one from the fruit basket the other day and she showed interest in it...so I handed it over. It provided much entertainment for her...she even likes biting on it.

After pushing it around for a while, she would rest her head on it like so to catch her breath.

Thanksgiving

We visited the Weldens over Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun to hang out with family that we have not seen in a while. Grandma was even able to come home for our big dinner. Here is Anya with her cousin Kate.

Anya in her Christmas dress. What a cutie!

At home Anya has started to enjoy playing the keyboard...she was thrilled when Mimi introduced her to a real piano.

Anya also enjoyed Hunter. She seemed to really love him.

Anya was a little fussy while visiting Grandma, but she changed her tune when Mimi took her for a ride in Grandma's wheelchair. She loved the ride!

Here is Anya with her Aunt Rachel and cousin Kate. Kate made the hat Anya is wearing.

Anya's Baptism

Anya was all dolled up for her baptism. She wore the same baptism gown as her Aunt Rachel and Aunt Abby, which was very special. What a cutie!

The weather was perfect for our backyard BBQ afterwards. Nothing is more fun than having a houseful (or yardful) of family and friends.

The guys had to check out the garden. Eating peppers straight off the bush...yummmmm.

Mom and Rachel looking after the babies. Anya and her cousin Amos are only 2 weeks apart in age!

A friendly game of bocce is always in order on such a beautiful day!

Julia had it all figured out...she graced several people with the honor of pulling her around the yard.
